Sunday afternoon at the Arboretum

Dear reader,

Hope you are doing well and enjoying your summer.. If you’re reading this, you’re probably one of my small selected circle of friends.

I have been very busy spending time with my wonderful husband and family and making an impact on my neighborhood and community because that’s how we change the world .🌎 Happiness is homemade and it starts at HOME.

On beautiful Sunny Summer Sunday we headed to the Arboretum with few selected friends to celebrate the birthday 🎂 of my beautiful friend Patience. Here are the key points and highlights of the event .Enjoy

The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum (MLA) has a history that dates back to 1907 when the Horticultural Research Center (HRC) was established to develop plants and crops that could thrive in northern climates. The HRC was located at Rolling Acres Road and Highway 5, about 1.5 miles west of the current arboretum. University of Minnesota plant breeders developed hardy cultivars of many fruits, including apples, and other plants like the Honeycrisp apple and Northern Lights azaleas.🌺

Until next time I have a question for you would you rather own things or experiences in your life.?

Stay tuned for my next blog post based on the Book 📖 the Things they carried by Minnesota native Tim O’Brian
