Cruising Lake Minnetonka-Unleashing the Wonders of the Soil-Soul Connection of Minnesota

Updated: Sep 3

“There is one spectacle grander than the sea, that is the sky; there is one spectacle grander than the sky, that is the interior of the soul.” ― Victor Hugo, Les Misérables

Minnesota offers something for everyone, with its breathtaking natural beauty and lively arts and entertainment scene. Whether you're eager to explore the great outdoors, savor delicious cuisine, or dive into the state’s rich cultural heritage, Minnesota has it all. With its diverse attractions and activities, it’s no wonder that Minnesota draws visitors from around the globe.

I enjoy promoting what I love. As I'm deeply in love with words, I found out from The Mirriam Webster Dictionary that above all promoting can be seen as giving the honors of which I find very interesting way to look at the word ‘’promote’’

: to advance in station, rank, or honor : raise

: to change (a pawn) into a piece in chess by moving to the eighth rank

: to advance (a student) from one grade to the next higher grade

: to contribute to the growth or prosperity of : further

promote international understanding

: to help bring (something, such as an enterprise) into being: launch

: to present (merchandise) for buyer acceptance through advertising, publicity, or discounting

So, when I have an interesting experience, I absolutely love to give it the honors of sharing it with others, and if have talk in Real Estate Language I would say to Record the Deed. -Write it down. Think in INK.

I also enjoy meeting new people. I love the quietness of Lake Superior all by myself, but at the same time, I take pleasure in making new souls. Meeting new souls expands your vision and makes you see things from a different perspective. I recently discovered that I'm an ambivert. An ambivert is a person whose personality falls between the extrovert and introvert extremes. They feel comfortable in social situations but also enjoy time alone, balancing between outgoing and reserved behavior.

On Sunday, my friend Chez Lenka and I decided on a spontaneous cruise. The weather was perfect, with sunny blue skies and a pleasant 75 degrees enhancing our walk. As we embarked on the cruise, we met delightful women; one was employed in the marketing department for a famous photographer check out his artwork here https://www.mangelsen.com , and the other new friend had over 30 years of experience in sales. We felt completely at ease as we set sail on Lake Minnetonka.

I have created a new ritual for myself when meeting new individuals, which I've called 'The One Advice Rule: Whenever I meet someone for the first time, I take the opportunity to learn from them by asking for a piece of advice based on their life experiences.

As is my custom, I asked for one piece of advice on Sales—so here it is.

''- Do not “sell,” better to educate someone to buy.

- it doesn’t work just telling someone facts to try to change their mind. Better to engineer (create) an experience so that the person can learn for themself.

- Building trust is key for relationships. Trust is a big word. You can divide it into three components:

1) Sincerity

2) Reliability

3) Competence

Figure out which component is missing when building trust and have conversations to strengthen it.''

Marjie

Simple and beautiful I would say.

When the cruise ended, we were sad, but we laughed because we had just met. In less than two hours, we connected with two wonderful human beings. That's why I love bringing people together at my events and connecting them for the greater good.

If you're looking to meet some of the most amazing souls in town, you are just one click away from it.

Prince said you must purify yourself in lake Minnetonka and the Bible says ''Oil and perfume make the heart glad; So, does the sweetness of a friend’s counsel that comes from the heart''

Proverbs 27:9

“Our universe grants every soul a twin-

a reflection of themselves -the kindred spirit – And no matter where they are or how far away they are from each other- even if they are in different dimensions, they will always find one another. This is destiny; this is love.” ― Julie Dillon
